Any other point in the game this would have been called a foul, no question. I hate the NBA because instead of ending a game (or extending) with foul shots (that wasn't a shooting foul, so it would have been only 2 shots, not 3) the game is ended on a "no call" and with everyone casting MORE doubt on the offciating (something that the NBA can't afford). The Spurs should have had a chance to tie it with free throws. If they make the shots, they tie it, if they don't they lose. Either way, it's in THEIR hands...not the Refs. Yes, I am a Spurs fan, but you can't deny the contact in this shot. If Fischer doesn't leave his feet...no foul....if Barry doesn't drop his head...definitely a foul. I listened to the talking head this morning on my ride to work and all of them are saying that "yes it was a foul, but it was a "no call" foul" because either: 1) Barry didn't sell the contact well enough, because he put the ball on the floor. 2) The last shot of the game requires more contact than other shots in the game. Do I need other reasons for hating the inconsistency in this game? This is why I hate the NBA. Click on this to see the multi-angled video: http://i32.tinypic.com/8vvq4m.jpg
